3 Synagogues in Puerto Rico
Chabad Lubavitch of Puerto Rico
Chabad of Puerto Rico reaffirms its dedication to best serve the needs of our community, as well as the Jewish community at large who make Puerto Rico their temporary home while on vacation or business.
At this time, we anticipate that the construction of the new Chabad Center - a center that will include a modern state of the art mikvah - will be well underway, G-d-willing, by next year. And this is only possible by the warm and wholeheartedgenerosity of so many special people.
Shaare Zedeck (Jewish Community Center)
Welcome to the Jewish Community Center of Puerto Rico – Shaare Zedeck Synagogue. We are a vibrant and caring Jewish community connecting our members to Judaism on many levels. For both members and non-members, this site offers a comprehensive overview of our values, worship, educational opportunities, events and facilities.
Please visit all our pages so that you will be able to see the fullness of our congregation and the depth of our commitment to our Jewish heritage and the community we serve.
Are you visiting Puerto Rico for the first time to attend a Bar or Bat Mitzvah? Looking for a welcoming Jewish community to join upon moving to the enchanted island? Unsure what to expect? Looking for a historical, spiritual space for a destination wedding? Feel free to contact us!
Temple Beth Shalom
Temple Beth Shalom (TBS), the Reform Jewish Congregation of Puerto Rico, was founded in 1967 by a group of families seeking the warmth and intimacy of a small congregation. Contributing to this ambiance are our many off-island associate members, visiting rabbis, and cantors.
We offer a generous range of programs, far in excess of most small synagogues, that appeal to the wide range of our members' demographics and backgrounds. Life-cycle events such as weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, confirmations, conversions, and baby naming ceremonies form an integral component of our community.
